Description:	The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, herein after called (“the Counties”), Community and Social Services Division, as Consolidated Municipal Service Manager invites proposals from non-profit and private sector proponents to develop affordable rental housing within Leeds Grenville, to assist the Counties in meeting the objectives of its Housing and Homelessness Plan. Proposals submitted in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP) will be considered for a funding allocation through the Investment in Affordable Housing (IAH) for Ontario Program. It is anticipated that approximately one million dollars ($1,000,000) over a two-year period (2016-2018) is available. For more information on the Affordable Housing Strategy, IAH (2014 Extension) Program Guidelines, and the Counties’ Housing and Homelessness Plan, please visit the Counties’ website at www.leedsgrenville.com. Submissions must meet the provincial guidelines and comply with the preferences outlined in this call for Requests for Proposal. The Counties is interested in receiving respondents’ proposals to develop affordable rental housing for low and moderate income households.
